Careful software, named for a hardy flower.
Sego Works is a software studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. It builds and publishes web apps for exacting, paper-heavy professional work, starting with chain-of-title research for Utah water rights.
How the work is done
Each app starts with one specific job and the public records behind it, and is built so its output can be checked. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else.
The name
Sego (SEE-go) is a Shoshonean word thought to mean “edible bulb.” The sego lily thrives in desert-like conditions. Utah’s pioneers ate its bulbs to ward off starvation in 1848–49, and it became the state flower in 1911.
